The pork came out so so so good. I didn't think it was gonna make it to the sauce and sandwiches!! The sauce I didn't care for. I believe I did the measurements right, but tasted to much ketchup and mustard. I just dipped the meat into the sauce, didn't want to ruin the meat!

This recipe is great! My hubby and I both thought it was just as good or even better than some BBQ places in the area. It was so tender and juicy! I cooked mine in a crock pot and it turned out just wonderful. I was told that this will be in my monthly rotation of recipes :

I made this for my picky eater English hubby and we both adored it. Could not have been better. The only thing is the sauce is way way to tangy. I would recommend cutting back on the vinegar a whole lot or else using your favorite bottled sauce but the actual pork was amazing.

This was great and easy to make! i don't think I'll have to go out again next time I have a craving for a bbq sandwich. Note I took some of the other reviewers advice and halved the vinegar, decreased the mustard to 3/4 cup, increased the sugar to 1/2c, increased the ketchup to 3/4c, and did the cayenne to taste. My husband who's not a bbq person loved it, specially with the slaw.

I used my own sauce, which is similar to his. Very good made it at the beach and everyone loved it.

The only reason I say weird is because I am a Texas girl and we just don't eat vinegar-based sauce on our bar-b-q. However, this was a great change of pace. I cooked it in the crock pot instead of the oven - turned out wonderful and all my guests loved it.

I let the meat sit with the dry rub for 24 hours before cooking the meet on a gas grill. The total time was about 5.5 hours (for 9lbs, with the first 3 hours wrapped in foil (to keep it moist never turning it and then the last couple hours in a pan while basting it with it's own juices every 20 minutes.

Rub was great. BBQ sauce reminded me of North Carolina bbq. If you don't like a vinegar taste to your bbq sauce, you may not like this, but my family and I thought this was amazing. My father in law, who is from NC, came over while it was cooking and immediately took a spoon to the sauce. He loved it!

My family loves this! I did find that the barbecue sauce was a tad bit strong on the vingegar side. We use our own bbq sauce and I used regular mustard since I was out of dry. I rubbed the mustard then the dry. I have shared this with several people since I enjoyed it so much!

This was great even without the cole slaw, which I will be making next time. It's spicy and tangy without being too sweet. The sauce color is strange, but tastes 1000 times better than the bottled garbage sold in the grocery stores. The whole recipe was easy to make - it just took a long time to bake the roast. I plan on making it on the grill this spring and summer.
