This is the real deal. I've made it twice; awesome with the accompanying cole slaw. Everyone I've made it for has freaked out over how good this dish tastes.

I?m always skeptical when I read about BBQ in the oven but this recipe is a winner. I used a smaller boston butt, smoked it for an hour (just because I crave hickory smoke and finished it off in the oven. The reviews of the sauce have really tickled the ol funny bone. I?ve noticed that most of the bad reviews come from way above the Mason-Dixon Line. Sorry folks but down here we don?t like our sauce to resemble sweet ketchup. Kudos to you Mr. Florence.

This was OUTSTANDING! I've used the dry rub on roast chicken and flank steak and it was wondrous! In a pinch, you could use your favorite BBQ sauce instead of making your own...I liked Tyler's recipe, but I'm not a big fan of cayenne pepper, so I left it out. The slow cooking causes the pork to fall apart. It's extremely tender! I like to freeze this in ziplock bags, so it's on hand for quick sandwiches.

Never have done one of these before. Very simple, which always makes it good, and this is good. The sauce has a great zing to it. We used toasted onion rolls to hold this. Wow, what a treat, and a treatment!

Skip the sauce and use your favorite instead. The sandwich is good without the slaw but is great with the slaw piled on top.

I made these sandwiches for my mother in laws 50th birthday party and they were a hit. The recipe was very easy and the pork was very good. I highly recommend this recipe.

    very good and relatively easy-
I pull the pork apart and put the BBQ sauce ingredients in the pan and throw it back in the oven for another couple hours --yum yum

The pork came out good and I wish I read the reviews about the sauce. Very yucky. And it did something to our insides after. Too bad I smothered all the pork with this scary sauce. Now I have to throw it out.
Will probably make the pork the same way with the rub, but we will have to find a new sauce.
