My family rates this as fabulous. I have made it three years in a row for Thanksgiving (in addition to a roasted turkey. Sometimes one turkey just isn't big enough when feeding a crowd. I prepare while my turkey is roasing and pop in the oven while the roasted turkey rests. I made this for my girlfriends last winter during a "girls retreat" and have been asked to make it again this year. It's a keeper! (haven't tried the gravy receipe, so I may give that a try this time around.

I have to agree with everyone else......why would you need to do a whole turkey ever again!! We LOVE this recipe. Thanks Tyler!

As sold, this recipe was really easy and it tasted great. I might have preferred a little more of the stuffing, so I may double the recipe the next time. Also, instead of making Tyler's recipe for turkey gravy I just used the pan the turkey cooked in to make a sauce while the turkey rested after coming out of the oven.

After making this as a trial for our upcoming Family Thanksgiving, all at the table agreed it was "Thanksgiving Dinner". I tried to play devils advocate, to no avail. My daughter whom doesn't particularly care for turkey loved it, I reminded everyone that it had to be great as my husbands family used to have a turkey farm. Everyone failed to be swayed any other way - So, Tyler Thank you it is Fantastic and so much easier to make. No more brining or salting for me... this is the way to go.

In an effort to include more healthful proteins in my life, I found this turkey breast recipe here. I don't much care for turkey breast. (I like the drumsticks, thighs and wings, all more flavorful and moister and fattier. But seeing the recipe's high ratings I thought I'd give it a try. It is terrific. The stuffing gives it great flavor and keeps the turkey pretty moist. It's an easy recipe, especially if you use store-made cornbread. I didn't. I made some from scratch. So that added 20 minutes to the preparation. When sliced the dish looks classy and like a lot more work than it is. Nothin' wrong with that.
