This looks so easy to prepare. I'm always looking for something different to serve during the holidays. I will serve this on Thanksgiving with the exception that I will slowly cook the turkey over mesquite for 6 hours in a Kamado that I have owned for over 14 years to add a little smokey flavor. Please check back and I will let you know how it turns out.

I used this recipe the first time I ever prepared a Thanksgiving day turkey. I was very nervous about serving the family of 20 but the presentation is amazing and the taste was ideal on our table. I make it yearly now and vary it slightly with other dishes. I really love this recipe.

I get angry when someone posts and has not tried the recipe, in this case I am doing the same. However, if you go to Food 911 and Tyler Talks Turkey (go to view all recipes and it will take you to the second page, the menu and recipes are quite similar. I have used the Maple Roasted Turkey and it is excellent, and I just wanted to let you guys know there are quite a few reviews on the stuffing in that recipe, especially in finding the cornbread muffins. The cranberry sauce differs a bit, but it is excellent. Before you try all these recipes, I think you should read the feedback, it could be helpful. I am going to combine the best of both shows and know it will be a smashing hit this Thanksgiving. Thank you so much Tyler
