Wow, this is soooo very easy, it seems like it MUST be wrong....fortunately it is not! When you don't have the time, energy or a big enough bucket to do Alton Brown's turkey, do this one!

I made this for Thanksgiving this year and I was SO happy with it. So was the rest of my family! It made making Thanksgiving dinner so much easier. It turned out very moist and full of flavor. Thanks once again Tyler, for another great recipe!

I was never a big roasted turkey fan - now I know why! I wasn't using Tyler's recipe. I officially took over the turkey responsibility from now on. Moist - Flavor! It totaly rocked...

I use alot of Tylers recipes and have never been disappointed. This was a great Turkey recipe. Easy and delicious. I made the cornbread stuffing also, and everyone loved it. I will be using it again next year.

This was the first turkey I ever made and I can't tell you how excited I am that it turned out perfectly!!!! The recipe was so easy to follow---the turkey was juicy and moist. The sage butter was great. We followed the recipe exactly as it was written--it will definitely be on the menu for next year!

Jeff wrote about the bacon in this recipe. I have looked at the recipe at least 4 to 6 times to see if I missed it. I don't see bacon listed anywhere. I didn't get to brine my turkey but will use all of the spices that tyler listed and will roast exactly as he says. I am sure it will be moist, juicy and wonderful.

The idea of stuffing the butter under the skin is brilliant! The sage adds so much flavor to the turkey and makes your entire home smell soooo good! We also baste the turkey with red wine during the cooking process to crisp up the skin and add some other flavors to it. This was the most moist turkey I have ever cooked and will continue to use this recipe for years to come! The stuffing is absolutely amazing as well. Everyone loved it.

I was always shy about cooking a turkey, I thought it would be too hard. I tried this recipe, and it was so easy to make. I think its the best turkey ever. I am making this every year.
