Thanks to Tyler's recipe my first year hosting Thanksgiving was wonderful! The turkey was moist and juicy...so much that nothing was left from the 20lb bird!!!! The only thing I did alter though was the cooking temp, I cooked it at 325 degrees instead of 375. I also brined the turkey overnight (I used Tyler's brine too.

I made this last night as we had Thanksgiving away and didn't have any leftovers. My husband said it was the best he ever had and not to change a thing.

I fixed a 10-lb turkey with recipe and only changed the stuffing by not using the egg, cream, and stock. I also added dried sage and poultry seasoning. With the oven set at 375 Deg. by turkey was done in 2 hours. I turned the oven down to 200 Deg. to keep it warm while the rest of the dinner was finishing up. The turkey turned out beautifully, nice golden brown and really moist. Thanks Taste of Home, my Thanksgiving dinner was a success.

I brined my turkey and chose not to stuff it. The brining mixed with sage butter under the skin made for a beautiful roast. The anti-breast crowd was impressed at how juicy the entire turkey was. This wasn't the best turkey I have ever had, but memorable nonetheless.

This is a no-nonsense receipe. Very easy and the bird comes out perfect. I modified the receipe for roasted chicken by using 2/3 stick of butter with 1 1/2 tablesppons of finely chopped sage and 2 stems of thyme and sage and stuffing it in the cavity. I used 2/3rds of the sage butter and put it in the breast and spread it the same way, added the remaining butter to the herbs (bend it in half. Cooked the chicken in a 350 degree oven until the temp reads between 160-180 in the thigh. You will never buy pre-cooked roasted chicken again.

I have never cooked turkey before in my life but while I was watching Tyler make this, the whole butter thing sold me. So I made it last year along with the other great recipes that day, the stuffing and pie. Let me tell you it was so gooood! I had everyone asking for seconds. I'm not a turkey fan at all, but I tasted some and it was just too good to resist.

I'm actually making the same recipe again this year along with Tylers ultimate baked mac and cheese. Its gonna be a hit. I suggest everyone to try this recipe. All of Tylers food is great and simple to do. Tyler I LOVE YOU!

We had Tyler's Ultimate Thanksgiving last year. I made this turkey (so simple, the gravy, the carmelized onion cornbread stuffing and his whipped sweet potatoes. Everything was phenominal! The turkey was so moist and simple to make. I am making it again this year (along with the fabulous stuffing, and I am going to add his brine to my turkey prep this year. Try one or all and you won't be disappointed!

I have been making Thanksgiving Dinner for 30 years and this is the best recipe I have found! I did change the temperature to 325 degrees, but besides that, this is the easiest, most delicious turkey in the world. My guests loved it even more! Ttler's mashed potatoes were fantastic, but the turkey is always the hero! Thanks TYLER!! We had Thanksgiving early as we had a young man going off to war - so I had to make a most impressive dinner, he will think of this for many nights!
