Despite the aroma that permeated our closed-wondowed-freezing-outside home, the dish was light and flavorful, and devoid of any of the "fishiness" I was expecting from the dish (because of the aroma. Big bonus; it was super easy.

My boyfriend and I made this and immediately it became one of our favorites! I highly recommend it to anyone trying to impress a date or friend of their culinary skill - the best is that you don't have to be a chef!

I made this for my family last night and they raved and said it was my best salmon dish ever! The marinade di not overpower and I love they way it is cooked, it did not smell up the house. Great! Thanks Tyler!

Of all the recipes on this show, this one was the easiest and the most impressive in taste and presentation - nicely browned by the sugar in the mirin. Guests said, "This salmon is amazing!"

Was very good and I used a high quality fresh salmon, however I think the marinade was overdone. The soy, mirin, and miso were all that came through in the salmon in the end. WHen i do it again I will cut back on the garlic, sake, and cilantro in the marinade because they seemed to make no impact.
