My guests and I loved this dish. I did a combination of apples and pears and added a bit of lemon zest to the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg mixture. I think my friends will be asking for this one again.

I made this the same day it was shown. It was sooooo easy and delicious (even though I used Cool Whip topping. Loved those cranberries popping in my mouth.

I watched Tyler prepare this recipe and could not wait to try it. When I went to the store I couldn't find cranberries either fresh or frozen, so I got frozen blackberries. It was terrific. I couldn't ask for a more warming wonderful dessert. Not on the very sweet side, just enough to make you all warm and fuzzy.

Wow this is yummy! The vanilla gives the pears such a wonderful richness. I didn't have cranberries so used blue berries instead which worked very well as I suspect many other berries would. I also mixed oatmeal and toasted chopped pecans into the topping for even more crunch(and fiber. I'd like to try this with an apple/cranberry combo next time.

This was a great dessert that did not take much prep time. The cranberries were tart, but we had vanilla ice cream with the dessert, which helped even out the tartness. Everyone loved it.

I find that baking with pears can often be problematic, but Tyler Florence's cobbler is simple to make with easy to find ingredients and a fabulous taste. I loved the tartness of the cranberries on top (I was thinking that frozen blackberries might also be interesting and the pears have a wonderful flavor with the vanilla and the cinnamon/nutmeg combo. This dessert takes very little effort but yields a tasty treat that my family loved.
