I had to run to the store for a few items (I didn't have allspice in my cupboard, but now I do!, but this recipe was worth it. Super easy and delicious. I had TONS of cucumbers from the farmer's market to deal with, and this was a great solution! Thanks Tyler!

Everybody loves these! I've been asked for the recipe every time I've served them. The flavor and crunch are wonderful, and they stay crisp for a several days. A very easy attention-getter and addition to meals.

Served this with sauerbraten last night and everyone raved. It is so ridiculously simple that I can't believe I've never done this before. Now I'm looking around the pantry to try this method on other veggies.

These pickles are wonderful - very sweet and full of delicious dill flavor. They taste just like homemade bread and butter pickles. I love that it's such a quick recipe to pull together. I didn't have fresh dill or allspice berries on hand, so I used 1 tsp. of dried dill and 1/8 tsp. of ground allspice.

This went really well with the Swedish meatballs.. I still have a good amount left over and still picking at them.. The All spice berries give it a great flavor. I think they Probably will go well on hamburguers and sandwiches too....
