This is the only pizza dough recipe I use, it turns out great every time. I usually reduce the salt to 1/2 T (like one reviewer mentioned it is a tad salty with the entire T.

Easy and so delicious. Very easy to make and easy to add your own touch to.

I followed the (5 stars and was not disappointed. Have made 2 double recipes in 3 days. I used regular four. Used it for schiacciata...fabulous, parm bread for gazpacho, paninnis and just had some with jam for breakfast. Will keep a batch at all times this summer...and maybe I'll even get around to making pizza with it.

Easiest and best ever. I can line the crust with fresh sliced tomatoes and bake it, then add all the other "stuff" and come out with an unbelievable pizza.

Every other recipe for dough calls for 1 teaspoon of salt. This one has one TABLEspoon. It was way too salty!

We have pizza once a week in our home. I always use this recipe. The only thing I change is that I add either fresh or dried basil to the dough.

I THINK THIS RECIPE IS INCORRECT. A TABLESPOON OF KOSHER SALT TO A TEASPOON OF SUGAR IN THE YEAST? THE WHOLE THING WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME! THE DOUGH DID NOT RISE CORRECTLY, AND IT SEIZED UP INTO A FLAT EXTREMELY SALTY CRUST THAT WAS HORRIBLE! THE ONLY SAVING GRACE WAS MY TOPPINGS, BUT IS WAS SO DARN SALTY, WE COULD BARELY EAT IT! SORRY, TYLER FLORENCE, BUT I AM GOING TO BE SKEPTICAL TO USE ANY OF YOUR RECIPES AFTER THIS FAUX-PAS! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

I'm from and live in NYC, and this is the closest I've ever gotten to a real NY pizza crust. I divided the dough in two instead of three, so I could get two large pizzas instead of 3 medium to small ones. That said, to all the people scoffing about the salt, did you use basic table salt or kosher? I used a Tbl of kosher, and it wasn't salty at all. If you used table salt, of course it would be overly salty, as it's much, much finer and stronger in 'saltiness' than kosher.

Besides being a big fan of Tylers this recipe is fun to make but best of all it's easy and it tastes great! You'll never want to go for take out pizza again!
