I would give this zero stars if that was an option. The sauce had absolutely no flavor! I really cannot believe people say they like this sauce!? I had to alter it so much to keep it from being bland that it ended up being a completely new recipe. I'm erasing it from my recipe box right after I post this. Yuck!

This is the first pizza sauce recipe I came across and there is no need to look any further. It is fantastic. I made it last night for the first time and my boyfriend and I loved it. This is definitely going in my recipe binder for future use. I am always looking for ways to remove processed food from our diet - now I don't have to buy pizza sauce in a jar!!

I did not like the dried marjoram in this recipe, needs oregano and more garlic w a pinch of sugar for the tomatoes.

This sauce was amazing. I used 12 oz. tomato paste and 1 can diced tomatoes which I mashed. It was a thick consistency, and the taste was phenominal. There truly is no need to ever use purchased sauce again. This recipe is easy and uses ingredients I always have in my home. Thank you so much!

This sauce was a amazing before I cooked it. I used the crushed tomato as I didn't have the puree as many put in their review. The only thing I added was red pepper flake. After it cooked it was bitter and entirely different in taste. I added a pat of butter and tad of sugar but still not wonderful. I saw a man on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives use his raw because it cooks on the pizza. Saving this recipe and will use fresh herbs and not cook.

Followed to a T with one exception. I subbed the Tomato Puree with Crushed Tomatoes in Puree because I was looking to make sauce that was a little chunky. That being said, my substitution would not at all alter the taste of the original... The taste is exceptional, just the right amount of tang, the olive oil (I used Extra-Virgin really takes the sour bite off the tomatoes but leaves just the right amount. That being said, I would recommend you don't use anything other than EVO; unless you prefer more of a sour bite (and a lot of people do. The simple herb and garlic combo works well... It was damn near perfect without the salt and pepper but I threw a bit of each in because that is what my taste preferred... Very Good Pizza Sauce! -- Sauce cans very well too.

Wow - this so didn't taste homemade! I added just a half teaspoon of red pepper flakes, bought pizza dough from Publix deli, great dinner!
