Wonderful recipe, but it requires too many pots and pans to clean later,

Our friends invited us over to an Austrian feast this evening. They had watched and recorded the show and re-created Tyler's dishes. Then we all viewed the episode while we ate our dinner. My husband is begging me to make these tomorrow night because there weren't any leftovers from our meal.

Great recipe! I actually add nutmeg to the plain bread crumbs and it is spectacular!

I made everything from this episode and it was yummy. It can be a heavy dish and best served in the winter. The spaetzel's were good (though not as good as my friends grandmother's..hers were thicker and more like fettuccini.. but that's more a technique I can work on.

My friend and I gave our husbands an outstanding German dinner with Tyler's schnitzel and spatzel! Eveb though it took us awhile to complete the meal (take out pizza was threatenedwe all were thrilled with final product. The pork was very tender and the spatzel was delicious. Our apples didn't get as carmelized as we wanted but we enjoyed them anyways. We added roasted carrots for color and an additional vegetable. This is defiinitely a meal to remember and keep.

My husband and I just got finished eating this delightful dinner. It was easy to prepare the schnitzle and spaetzle that you made on the show. Thanks Tyler for the recipe. It is sooooo good. Gloria and Stan

I tried this recipe for the first time and it was exactly like what I had in Frankfurt Germany last year at the outdoor food festival. This is a keeper of a recipe. Thank you Tyler!!!!!!! Keep up the good recipes. I watch your shows all of the time.

I made the entire menu from this show for my family, and I can say it is one of the most delicious meals I've ever cooked. Although we have boneless pork chops a lot, I've never pounded them thin. I didn't even know what spaetzle was, so I was really intimidated. It was a bit of work, but everything turned out perfectly! Very delicious and rich! We all loved it!
