My husband is not a pot roast fan, but he likes this one. Plus, the prep is very minimal since most of the vegetables used are small anyway, so you don't have to cut too much up.

My mother used to make pot roast and I would never touch it. Now that I am older and wiser, I do miss my mother's pot roast. This recipe is the closest could get to her recipe. Thanks Tyler

This is the first negative review I've ever posted. I usually have decent luck at picking out good recipes. I was hoping to find an easy, delicious pot roast recipe that I could cook in my crockpot. I have a toddler and I need dinners that she will enjoy and that are quick to prepare. However, this was one of the most unappealing, tasteless, tough things I've ever made for my family. There is a possibility that the piece of meat I used might just have been a dud, which would account for the toughness, but even so, the flavors were not good in general and even the veggies weren't good. I'd highly encourage you to try a different recipe for pot roast and stay away from this one.

I had been searching for a great pot roast recipe and I found it!!! Its simply incredible and everyone loved it! As a single mom, I thought the time it took would be a problem, but hey, it IS pot roast and it was worth the cooking time!
