This is a wonderful alternative to grilling. The cut of pork (shoulder was very inexpensive,, but wonderfully tender and tasty. The rub and sauce were tangy and had a wonderful mustard-vinegar base. Highly recommended as a meat to serve for large parties. Prep early and it gets even better a day later.

This recipe was easy, it didn't take alot of prep, and my husband loved it. The sauce is really tangy, but once you mix it with the pork and make sandwiches it mellows.

My family loved this pulled pork recipe from Tyler. It was delicious and even though it had a lot of steps,
I liked the fact that it made enough for several meals. (The butcher told me to use the back shoulder not the front and I think this is a great tip.
I am very picky about fat and was able to remove all visible fat when pulling it apart. I like using the Dijon mustard over the yellow. I was skeptical about putting the coleslaw on top of the meat and eating it like a sandwich, but it was wonderful. The coleslaw is not sweet like a usual coleslaw and compliments the meat so well. I will make this often to feed a crowd.

After reading the reviews for the sauce I decided to use my own doctored up commercial brand. The pork was absolutely scrumptious. It was easy and required no attention while in the oven. Our 16 guests raved on and on about it.

This was a really goo dry rub. It is VERY salty though, so the second time I made it I cut the salt to just 1 T and took the brown sugar up to 3 T and it was PERFECT!! It almost melted it was so tender!

Made this the other day - wonderful! However, after reading the mixed reviews about the sauce, made my own bbq sauce - the meal was fantastic! Will be making it again soon!

Awesome! I've been married for 30 years, my husband said the best meal he has had. We had the pork and slaw on hoagie buns. M-m-m-m M-m-m-m Good!
