Great recipe with a solid outcome. Used a large boston butt and cooked it for 7 hours, until the meat was falling off when touched. Starting on a grill with smoke would have enhanced the flavors a bit but the rub did wonders. Barbecue sauce was a hit with most of the folks at the table (excluding my bride who doesn't like mustard -- has a nice kick that doesn't overload everthing else. Great pulled pork for someone without access to a smoker.

Fantastic!!!!! After reading the reviews on the BBQ sauce, I went light on the vinegar (only 1 cup. The longer the sauce sat the mellower it became. It was very good by the time the pork was done. The 170 degrees was way off. Time seems to be about an hour per pound. My friends loved it.

The pork was the best I have prepared, the sauce definitley needs work. It was too tangy and vinegary. I'm grateful to have had a store-bought sauce in the cupboard.

Didn't make the recipe from this show, but actually from Tyler's Food 911 "Indoor BBQ" which is an identical recipe. Had a party of about 20 and with other southern favorites, it was a definite hit. The sauce is rather vinegary but that is indicative of North Carolina BBQ, which is where Tyler grew up. Everyone has their regional favorites when it comes to BBQ and everyone is convinced their's is the best. This recipe is no exception to that rule.

I will admit i was a little scared with this. I cook a lot but not in the oven...only on the stove and this was so easy and so good. I put the rub on and let it sit overnight. Put it in the oven and 6 hours later i was in heaven. The sauce was a little tangy for me but my husband loved it. I will admit once you put the cole slaw on top and ate it i was in heaven. Simply delicious! Thank you Tyler and Jack!!!!!

I have never been disappointed in ANY of the recipes that Tyler has offered to the foodnetwork. This is no exception. Moist, fantastic flavor, great texture and the sauce gives it the right amount of kick. Perfect poker night food.

Super easy recipe. Only modified it in that we used a Crock Pot and let the Pork simmer all day. Turned out very well. Southern friends thought they had died and gone to heaven when they tasted it.

This was the best pork sandwich ever! It was so tender and sweet! The sauce was a little too much vinegar for me, I like it sweet. But the roast itself was fantastic. It was a hit at my house. The coleslaw made it even better!
