I followed the recipe from the show. After blending and putting in the fridge to rest, I looked up this recipe online to see about storing crepes. That's when I read about the melted butter! Why wasn't it in the show?! Luckily, I added it, blended it again and put it back in the fridge for an hour and they turned out great.

Also, the filling didn't puff at all. Not sure what the difference would have been like.

The filling really left something to be desired. It was not sweet enough at all. I suggest adding more sweetener if you like a sweeter filling.

I did not think the filling or the sauce was sweet enough. The orange zest in the strawberry sauce and in the filling gave it a sour bite that I did not care for. But that is personal preference. Next time I will omit it and maybe add a different flavor and a tad more sugar.

This is the third time I have made this recipe and it turns out better every time. I made some variations like using frozen strawberries and orange juice (from the orange I zested for the filling along with some water for the sauce. It is a time consuming recipe but I think it is worth the outcome. Good Luck! ;-

I did it correctly and it was so so. Not enough sauce and not enough crepes-for the heavy filling. Got them to work out, but it was somewhat of a mess and the outcome was disappointing.

    Better luck next time.

As a Polish girl, I make these all of the time with my family. I surprised my mother with these crepes during our mother/daughter brunch for Mother's Day. They came out perfectly and were a creamy, savory treat! My only suggestion is if you prepare the glaze as directed, you must keep adding water otherwise I would suggest that you prepare it towards the end.

I made this breakfast for my boyfriend and his guys. They loved it. It had the perfect amount of sweetness.

I had high expectations for this dish - cream cheese, strawberries, a bit of sugar... how could one go wrong? The crepe was good, but the filling was lackluster at best. Expected something sweeter. And I now know that I do not like cornstarch in my strawberry sauce as it resembles the fake sauce I remember as a child.

I'm the odd the (woman out, I suppose.

This recipe is simple but takes about 1 1/2 hrs. to totally complete and well worth it! I have never made these before and decided to omit the citrus and no one in my home likes that in their food. They tasted absolutely awesome! I topped them off with whipped cream and my family went nuts over them. Thanks for the great recipe!

I made this for my family. It is a very nice dish, and a great change of pace. It does take awhile to make, so next time I will make the crepes and filling the day before I plan to serve this. The only thing I changed is I used two cups of strawberries instead of four, and it seemed to make plenty of sauce. I will make this for my grandmother for mother's day.
