i did like one of the viewers did, and prepared all of the ingredients ahead of time; the next morning just put it all together in good timing. My boyfriend and I weren't too fond of the cheese filling; the consistency of the ricotta cheese and overall flavor wasn't that tasteful. I like sweeter, thicker cheese fillings. I let him try the crepes by themselves and he liked eating it with Nutella. The crepes were easy and yummy, and so was the strawberry sauce.

This is a fantastic and very flavorful dish. It took a bit of time to put together, but the way the recipe is written you can work on one piece at a time without any running around and wondering how the other parts are doing.

Neither sweet, nor savory. It was missing something; though the strawberry sauce was very good - but how could it be bad? The whole thing was a bit more complicated than it need to be too.

this was so delicious! I served it at a brunch and everyone loved it. You can use "Melissa" brand prepared crepe shells in a pinch & prepare as directed for a time saving step.

I saw this on T.V. and just had to try it. It was the best breakfast I have ever made. My husband was extremely impressed also. I made the batter, cheese filling and sauce the day before, which made this very simple the next morning. Breakfast back in the woods on our property with a fir blazing and good food and great lemonade champagne!

It was not hard just long. I used a cream cheese/butter/ sugar for the filing instead of the ricotta cheese. But for all the work and time I was expecting it to be AWESOME! It was good though. Might make again, maybe once-a-year. -- Susan, TX --

my father loved them, and everyone else seemed to enjoy them. I was surpised that the flavor was so mild. I expected a burst of orange and cream flavor. Next time i would use more orange flavor to make it stronger on the palate. Also, the crepes were hard to figure out if they were ready or not. It took a long time to make.

Crepes have always been easy for me to make.......luckily! My normal is "Fiesta Crepes" - somewhat like a meat enchilada wrapped in cornmeal crepes but these crepes turned into blintzes are THE BOMB! And...as I doubled the recipe and had leftovers, I simply put the filled crepes (without the sauce into the fridge and quickly pan fried them 6 DAYS LATER and they were still fresh and delicious. Don't be afraid of making crepes......make your batter, swirl it around your nonstick fry plan, flip and you're there! Easy with a little practice and confidence in yourself. Great ricotta and orange zest filling.....GO FOR IT!
