the pancakes were not "fluffy" but wet. Tried many different cooking times/temps, but they were still sloppy and soggy. threw them out

We loved them. Saw the show on a Sunday and made them for B'fast on Labor Day. Easy to make and were truly melt in your mouth magic!

Great to finally know how to make souffle-like pancakes. Using only half of the ricotta cheese gets you even fluffier pancakes, but the cheese is an great addition. I threw farmers market blueberries in and didnt need any syrup. TYLER ROCKS. He's the best TV chef by far.

THESE PANCAKES WERE SO LIGHT AND FLUFFY IT WAS ALMOST UNBELIEVEABLE. IT DID TAKE AN EXTREMELY LONG TIME TO COOK THEM. I DID IT OVER MED-LOW FLAME TO GET GOOD COLOR BUT THE RICOTTA IS VERY MOIST SO TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN A NORMAL PANCAKE BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT. THE PROSCIUTTO IS SO SIMPLE AND IS GREAT. MAKE EXTRA AS IT WILL DISAPPEAR. THE APPLES WERE A PERFECT COMPLIMENT..THE MEAL WAS SWEET, SALTY, CREAMY, CRUNCHY, AND FANTASTIC.

I saw bits and pieces of this episode twice and just had to try it. I came our awesome (plus i made it for just my husband and I so I ate leftovers for most of the week following. My only suggestion is to watch the roasted prosciutto carefully, mine was probably a little overdone.

I was so excited to make these pancakes and followed the recipe to the letter. There is way too much ricotta and too little flour in this recipe. The batter was extremely thick and wouldn't spread. I tried thinning it with buttermilk, but the pancakes just would not cook through and remained wet no matter how long I cooked them. I wound up tossing the whole thing in the trash.

The prosciutto, however, was delicious. DON'T use extra salt though! Prosciutto gets saltier as it cooks. Enjoyed the apples as well.

This recipe did take a little longer than your typical pancake recipe, but the results were worth it! The pancakes were nice and light and the cheese flavor with the apples really went well together very nicely. I can see how the ricotta/lemon combination might not sit well with some people, but overall, it was divine. Worth a try!

I made the pancakes for my husband

when he took one bite of the pancakes he said these pancakes are of this world! My pancakes don't come out as good as Tyler.
