Holy Balls! If you are looking for a can't fail, best ever, tasty Prime Rib than look no further. I have made this 3 times now and each time it has come out to perfection and impressed my guests to great lengths. I roast mine on aromatics of onion, carrots and parsnips, which was how this was originally presented in his cookbook. YUMMY!

For the 4th year we will be having this prime rib on Christmas Eve. We started with a 6 pound roast, every year we increase the size of the roast... This year 17 pounds. I tease my sons each year that we will be trying a new recipe and they insist that we not change a thing! Happy holidays to all!

This is fantastic. I hate to admit it but this was the first time I stepped out of my comfort zone in the kitchen when trying this recipe and I am so glad that the family approved of my new quest. I have to do this again sometime for sure.

This has got to be the finest prime I've ever eaten. Extra moist and melt in your mouth.

I did this recipe for the first time last year for our christmas dinner and my other half was concerned since I was trying for the first time on xmas dinner. I am no beginner cook, however, it was my first time cooking a prime rib and it was awesome, my whole family said it was the best prime rib they had ever day. not bad tyler. we will be doing it again this year.

This has been a Christmas meal for my family for three years. The left overs make great Itialan beef sandwiches. Rock on Tyler.

This is the most amazing prime rib recipe I have ever tried! I've made this twice and followed the recipe exactly both times...everyone absolutely loved it!

This was delicious but I, too, found it to be quite salty...will cut down on the salt next time. I made it with the scalloped potatoes gratin...wow...absolutely great!!
