Our family absolutely loved this dish. Fabulous flavor and so easy to make. There is never any leftovers with this dish, & they ask for more. wonderful use for squash.

This is an easy and fabulous side to any meal. I did take the advice of one of the other reviewers and before I baked the squash, I microwaved for 5 min to speed up the cook time. I served this at a dinner party and received rave reviews. Also, instead of amaretto, I used frangelico and skipped the cookies - De-Lish!

This is a very good recipe. I agree with a former poster...it takes longer to cook that the 35 min.; less butter is sufficient; we used her suggested Amaretti cookies (crushed at the basting time (available at Italian markets
I'm thinking you could also slice the squash into rings. Microwave the squash for 5 min. before putting into the oven (poke holes in the squash so it does not explode in the microwave.

Wow Tyler this dinner was the best. My brother-in-law loves meat. It had great flavor. The kitchen smelled so good. The family ate all of it in one night, no left overs. Love the show!!!! Watch it every day.

This is very decadent! My daughter who doesn't like squash ate it up. I used English toffee cookies crushed - yum. Served this with Food 911's Pork Chops with Apple Sauce and herb roasted potatoes. Perfect fall Sunday dinner.

This recipe is a treat. Our notes:
We only needed 1/2 the butter (and we are butter fans! it took considerably longer than 35 min. to cook. We used 6 crushed amaretti cookies for the topping and added those at the time of basting. This is a nice dish for company.

Yum! This is such a great fall recipe. I made this to go along with Tyler's pork chops--a fantastic entree--but I think I could easily gotten away with just the squash for dinner. They're so filling!
