I roast ALL my veggies this way. When I make the asparagus, I ommmit the cheese. I add a little fresh garlic and fresh rosemary prior to the roast. The rosemary is just a delicious added flavor. Once they are done, I squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the asparagus. Simply spring and simply yummy!

This is ridiculously simple, but I had always cooked asparagus in a pan or sauce pan, after trying this method I will never cook asparagus differently. They came out superb. Simple but great!

I tried this extremely simple method to cook asparagus the first time, primarily because the stovetop was nonfunctioning-needing repairs. We picked up our first spring bunch of asparagus that day and couldn't wait to have some. I recalled Tyler's recipe and ten minutes later- we were munch it out of the pan. Such amazing flavor!!! It is now the only way I reccomend asparagus!

My husband roasts asparagus all the time but hasn't used garlic. Lisa - how much crushed garlic do you use? Mary Ann - if you like your asparagus with cocktails, try Paul Dean's asparagus wrapped in filo dough. Outrageous! Also, if you like your asparagus cold, try it on lettuse or baby spinach with French dressing. Makes a wonderful salad!
