This was so great! My whole family loved it! Everyone was asking me for the recipe. I loved it. I think next time I will try a turkey sausage and I won't put the full amount in. I know everyone is going to making this for Thanksgiving and Christmas!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!

This Thanks Giving will be #3 for this dish. The only thing I change is the stock. I make my own turkey stock. The first year I had a hard time with the chestnuts. But, I have found them all ready to go at the world market. Yum, Yes, they are a little pricey, but, it is Thanks Giving. I never would eat dressing, but, this dish has changed my mind on that. Thanks Tyler..

This recipe is AWESOME!! I have made it the last 2 Thanksgivings, and it has been requested again! I have not been able to find chestnuts to roast, so I have used canned water chestnuts instead and it always tastes wonderful! Try this it is amazing!
    Thank you Tyler!

This recipe is absolutely rock star. I made it last year for Thanksgiving and everyone absolutely loved it. I really don't understand the other reviewers who don't use the chestnuts, they are so delicious, soft, and rich in the final product. Yes they are expensive but it's only once a year.

This was a simple recipe to make and the ingredients came together flawlessly per Tyler's recommendations. My only negative comments are 1 chestnuts are just weird to cook with in general. Overrated in my opinion. They taste odd... 2 this dish lacks the color that you get from some of the most interesting dressings that include cranberries. It's still the same old yellow-brown pile that clutters the Thanksgiving plate... but still, the dish was good and worthy of a remake if the guests like chestnuts.

Since we saw and made this recipe, my kids are eating dressing! The flavour is amazing and since we got our ingredients at the bulk store, we only got what we needed - saved money. I used a bit less chestnuts and less bread after making the recipe for the first time to suit the family's tastes. Perfect consistency and flavour - keep this recipe handy! Thanks Tyler!!

This was good, but for me, the expense to make it was too much for what it is.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone RAVED about it. I also added cooked giblets to the recipe. Very yummy flavor!! I will make this every year!

This Dressing can totally hold its own as a meal alone. We got impatient and fixed it early for brunch. It works as a football treat or a breakfast too! Only takes one Trader Joes chestnut package. The veggies are hidden in the puree, so squeamish youngsters don't even know they're eating them. Very unusual, different and yummy! Will probably substitute other nuts next time.
