    Great Marinade

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I made this when I was visiting family in Rome, the quality of the ingredients over in Europe made this dish phenomenal. Of... course it never hurts to go to the butcher and watch them slice your beautifully marbled steaks. I had them cut on the thin side which worked out really well for this marinade.Read more

    Tyler Rocks!

My husband and I have a new favorite marinade! This is extremely flavorful without being bitter. It has a wonderful taste... that I didn't expect. I was only able to marinate the steaks for about an hour, so I can't even imagine how wonderful they are marinated overnight. The only thing I did different was use vidalia onion because I didn't have shallots. I'm going to try this on pork chops next.Read more

Meat was a little tougher than usual

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
We made this marinade and cooked the meat according to Tyler's "fist muscle method" to judge the degree of doneness. Although... the steaks were definitely medium, they were much tougher than usual (after 4 hours of marinading compared with dry rub). However, they did have a fabulous flavor. Maybe the acidity of the vinegar toughens the steaks?Read more
