I love blue cheese and pears. My dish came out nice, but not the best! Like one reviewer said, make sure to get very ripe pears. Mine were not as ripe as I wanted them to be, but I had to make the dish that particular day.

Next time, I will really wait until the pears are very ripe. I think the fully ripened sweet taste of the pears will be wonderful with the blue cheese!

The roasted pears were great! I'm not usually a big fan of bleu cheese, but with this dish, it's very tasty. I like the contrast of the sweet pear with the cheese. We'll make it again, I am sure!

Thought this sounded interesting as my mother used to serve a salad of pears w/ grated cheddar. Almost didn't use the olive oil as I usually don't like the flavor, BUT desided to try it as written the first time. Totally wonderful and very different... even the olive oil! It adds sooo much and don't think it would be as good without it. I definately will be having this a a sidedish for Thanksgiving

Loved this dish!! It was simple to make and VERY flavorful! One tip: Make sure you get sweet/ripe pears, if they're not fully ripened, the flavors don't mesh as well. Thanks for another great recipe!

These pears were soft and juicy. The saltiness of the blue cheese and the sweet of the pear were a terrific combo. We used glazed pecans and it was fabulous. Highly recomend this recipe to anyone. We will be having these on Thanksgiving.

Tyler you deserve kudos for this yummy, easy to prepare dish. I saw it this morning and made it tonite. You can not mess this up. I used pecans instead of walnuts and it was still amazing. Thanks for a recipe even beginners can make!
