I served this at Thanksgiving dinner and the family LOVED it! They told me that it is a must every year.

I am a big fan of most things Tyler, but i've tried this recipe twice now fiiguring I made a mistake the first time. It is not good. The sweet potatoes came out soggy and mushy, and I would prefer them crispy. Before I hear leave them in longer, and oil and honey were begining to smoke out my kitchen. This is definately one to leave off your menu. Sorry Tyler.

I made this with a pork roast but left out the pepper as my mother doesn't care for that spice and my mother who is very fussy about her sweet potatoes absolutely LOVED them. She said the only thing wrong with the recipe was that there wasn't enough of them. I can't believe how easy and delicious these were. I going to try and substitute nutmeg for the cinamin as my daughter is allergic to it.

    Thanks alot Tyler

These are pretty amazing! I used the same amount of butter in place of olive oil and 1.5 tsp of cinnamon as 2 tsp was looking pretty intense cinnamon-wise. I will definitely make these again.

Made this for Thanksgiving and it was a nice take on a somewhat traditional recipe. Even people in my family who don't normally eat sweet potatoes enjoyed it. So, I will definitely make again. Had to cook the sweet potatoes for longer than given - may be due partly to the stove being wonky. Also, I ended up putting them in a baking dish about 3/4 of the way through to cook them better and add additional spices/oil.

This recipe was a perfect change to my traditional sugar laden sweet potatoe cassorole. The only change I made was to combine yellow and orange sweet potatoes for visual appeal. PERFECT!

I roasted these the night before Thanksgiving. Before dinner I skipped the additional olive oil, tossed in fresh sage and drizzled with a little melted butter. Warmed them in a casserole dish in the oven and they were wonderful.
