This is THE best toma soup I have ever tasted and so simple too! I skipped the heavy cream altogether and it was delicious. It's so simple that I have this recipe memorized haha. I can't wait to make it again in a few days.. this is coming from someone who doesn't like tomatoes : My boyfriend also says this is the best soup he's ever had. Thanks Tyler!

Thanks Tyler. Awesome recipe. It was really an awesome combination. I don't think I let the stock reduce enough prior to the puree. I think this made it slightly week on the tomato. But was making for a dinner party and my time was down to the wire. Still a 5 star compared to any tomato soup I have ever had even with the slight error in my execution.

After I finish making a homemade soup I think "why did I bother." This was AWESOME and the cream added such a nice rich flavor. My 6 year old liked it too. I will be making this again.

This soup is so delicious - I've made it over and over again! I took the reviewers' suggestions and added the crushed red pepper when I roasted the veggies, and it definitely gave it a nice kick. I completely eliminate the butter and the cream to make it healthier - not as rich, and all of the flavor is in the roasted vegetables anyways. Then I can eat it guilt-free every day!

Awesome soup- also great as a base if you like to play with your recipes, I made the first batch following the recipe- it was great, then the second batch, when everything went into the pot, I added Italian seasonings and crushed red pepper for a kick!

This is literally the most flavorful tomato soup I have ever had! I could not get enough, and it was sooo easy to make. I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could. It takes tomato soup to a whole new level of delishiousness, and I didn't even need to use the cream to up the richness!

I made this amazing recipe and we had soup one night. The next day was a long day and I didn't feel like cooking but I had about half of the soup left over. I boiled some angle hair pasta and heated up the soup (reducing it a little bit. I added it to the pasta and topped it with some freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I added a salad and we had a wonderful meal. The soup made a great pasta sauce!!
