This recipe definetly lives up to it's name. It rocks. I was afraid to add the lemon zest when I made it, but after trying Tyler's Ultimate Cheesecake -which has lemon zest- I'm definetly going to add it next time. Also, I blended my long-grain rice in the blender before cooking so that the pudding wouldn't be chewy. Great recipe!

I felt it was too sweet and could be creamier, but was very easy to make and for those with a serious sweettooth, it's probably close to perfect.

This is the best rice pudding recipe I have found. All the other recipes were okay and usually didn't include raisins but this one was fantastic. The lemon zest in the pudding gives a unique but wonderful taste. I was thinking about leaving it out but I'm glad that I didn't. If your looking for a rice pudding recipe that's easy to make and tastes great this is the one you need to try!! Absaolutely wonderful!

I made this with the take out chinese food leftover rice... delish! and it smells wonderful while you make it. I added a cinnamon stick with the milk and butter and cooked it for the entire time, it makes the cinnamon flavor subtle, with no brown flakes.

I just made the pudding...great! I omitted the lemon zest and added about 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and put in 1 tsp of cinnamon with about 3 minutes left on my oven timer...great! Kids loved it! However, put your burner (I have a gas burner on medium to start the cooking and medium low for the last (about 10 minutes and it will not burn/scortch and come out great! Refridgeration recommended, but, thank you Tyler for a great recipe!

I added a 1/4 c of 1/2 & 1/2 and omitted the raisins and zest. I used rice left over from Japanese food. It turned out great!
