I didn't use this recipe, but I watched the video for it and just served it at a dinner party. It was totally a hit and way easier than I thought. Yum! I just found a new love for Tarragon!

I love this recipe.. it comes out perfect every time! The timing for the eggs is spot on and the dressing works really well.

This was my hub's 1st foray into Nicoise, and he loved it! He commented on the taste treats around the plate and mentioned the "dressing."
The Ahi Tuna was "fresh" rather than canned or previously frozen. After grilling that was incredible!
Not sure about totally lemon juice acidity. I think I'll try part vingegar/lemon the next time.

Not a fan of tarragon or red onions, so I subbed dill and green onions... and my crappy grocery store's fresh tuna looked anything but, so I actually used wild Alaskan smoked salmon. It turned out wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone, and look forward to making it again with ahi tuna. Very healthy and refreshing. Thanks Tyler!

I substituted the green beans with steamed asparagus and the scallions for chopped red onions. It was DELICIOUS!

Very good flavors but some of the items dominate the plate (olives.
Need a little technique to execute the potatoe/bean/egg cooking that does not destroy the eggs or demolish the potatoes.

This is a super make-ahead dish since you can prepare all the ingredients the day before and just plate it on the day you want to serve it. I used good canned tuna (since you can't get fresh tuna in my area. I cook the beans, potatoes and eggs (in that order separately but in the same pot of water so I only have to heat one pot.
I've served this to guests twice and am about to serve it again this week. Thanks, Tyler!

This recipe is amazing as written, but is also adaptable as a much cheaper, but still pretty satisfying, quick weeknight dinner with decent quality canned tuna (believe it or not. The dressing is fabulous and we make it all the time, sometimes with extra garlic for kick. Make sure not to overcook the potatoes or beans.

Very easy, delicious recipe to serve guests! It can be made ahead of time, except searing the tuna at the last minute. This makes it a perfect meal for entertaining. Serve with a little white wine and your guests will leave very happy and satisfied.
