WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly didn't think that a recipe so easy would be so delicious. Squeezed fresh lemon on top...

I saw this when it aired and it made my mouth water, and I don't even like salmon. (or any kind of fish for that matter But this looks so delicious. Just one problem, where I live, it's hard to find a few of the ingredients - like salmon, creme fraiche, and dill. I suppose I could substitute like mad but then I'd almost be making another recipe. Woe is me. :(

This is by FAR the best and EASIEST recipe for salmon I have ever tried. It is practically fool-proof! I feel guilty for the rave reviews I always get from my family when I make it. I am always tempted to try something new, but this is just too good and simple!

This was an absolutely delicious meal, and very elegant too. I would cut back a wee bit on the dill next time (it was a bit over-powering for my taste, but other than that, the flavors were just wonderful. I would surely make it again- and for company as well.

Potatoes were great...I would rate them 4 stars. Lots of flavor, lots of color. Will definitely make again. The salmon I think was just average. I liked the crispy skin but found the fish kind of greasy, and I am not a butter/oil prude...just thought it didn't add anything to the dish. Probably will not make the salmon again, or will just butter the skin and not add the oil.

Love this recipe! I used coarse French sea salt in place of Kosher for a subtle added crunch. Delicious even without the creme fraiche, and insanely moist! I served with Green Beans with Shallots (from thie site and couscous.

i've recently become a tyler florence fan and so when i was looking up salmon recipes, i decided to try this one. Simple and yet, a slight twist on traditional flavors. My family LOVED it. My salmon probably wasn't as juicy b/c i prefer it well done but i'm not complaining. And the smashed potatoes were SOO good!! So much better than ordinary, boring smashed potatoes which i've made before. I had to blanch my own pearl onions b/c i couldn't find any frozen ones but it was worth it b/c the final result was "as good as a gourmet meal"-- as my dad put it. I didn't buy creme fraiche and instead, combined sour cream (reduced fat with some 2% milk. I drizzled only a little on top (b/c we're all a little health conscious and left the rest on the side so everyone could use it to their own taste. It was just as good. LOVED IT!!

This Salmon was very easy to make and delicious too! I didn't make the new potatoes, but will probably try them next time. Great recipe if you have just a small amount of time!
