This was a delicous recipe, except all the fruit adds lots of volume. We used two one gallon pitchers.

This was my first time making Sangria. While the recipe was great, it was just too much for a gallon pitcher like the recipe suggested.
Next time, I would probably only use 3 bottles of wine, reduce the brandy & sugar, and use only 1 of each fruit.
Honeyew Melon wasn't available, so I used blackberries instead.
I think I'll try the Grand Marnier suggestion next time as well.

Made this 48 hours ahead for a party we are hosting tomorrow night. I tasted it yesterday and today and man is this stuff good. I tripled the recipe and I am sure it will ALL be gone.

I added white peaches instead of the melon and I also added plums and grapes. Instead of the brandy I added Grand Marnier. I can't keep my lips off the taste spoon. Recommend letting sit 48 hours to further blend and enhance the flavors. Will make this again SOON.

Perfect "signature" drink for a dinner party. So refreshing and easy to drink, party atmosphere easy to develop - just be careful not to overindulge!

This was a good recipe, but I suggest Grand Marnier as the brandy and I also added some lime club soda.
