This was a beautiful dish to add to our holiday feast. I did sub the pancetta for smoked bacon and it was still fabulous......I will make it exactly as the recipe calls for next time and I am sure this dish will become a staple regardless of the season. Many thanks Tyler

I hate green beans and I've hated every dish I've ever eaten with green beans in it, except for this one. I made this last christmas for my guests (so there would be a green bean dish I ended up trying it and it was delicious! Definitely a keeper!

I made this for my step daughter and her husband along with a roast. All they complimented were the green beans.

I've made this recipe several times now with pancetta and once with a good bacon. It has always beeen a big hit but I never could add the sour cream until now. Wow, this adds a different dimension! For you calorie watchers it's not cheap but it's very delicious. Try it both ways (with and without the sour cream, two totally different dishes. It's a "go-to" recipe for sure.

I thought this was an expensive waste of green beans. The mushrooms overpowered the bright flavor of the green beans and the pancetta was dulled by the mushrooms and the beans.

I made this dish for Christmas dinner and served it alongside a delicious beef roast. I probably added more mushrooms than called for and did not crisp up either them or the pancetta (leaving the meat a little like ham. My entire family could not stop eating them! Thank you so much Tyler for yet another terrific recipe that will remain in my arsenal! You and Ina are my faves!

I am so thankful for a green bean recipe to use for the holidays that doesn't include cream of anything soup! This received rave reviews from all at Thanksgiving!

We usually have the traditional green bean casserole for our Thanksgiving side, but this year I tried Tyler's recipe and fell in love with it!! It was really quick and easy to make and we will diffinately have this again throughout the year. Thank you for this great recipe!

This turned out fantastic. I did leave out the sour cream b/c I didn't have any on hand - and I'm telling you it was delicious w/o it. I would recommend adding the garlic a bit later... mine was burnt since it was in from the beginning. I needed a high heat to get the mushrooms to sautee and it ended up burning the garlic. I would add it later in the sautee-ing process. Oh - I would also suggest rough chopping the pancetta - it was delicious in big bites, but it would be better as small pieces throughout the dish.

This was so good, I'm making it for Thanksgiving this year!

I am not a fan of green bean casseroles..I do not like canned green beans and don't even get me started on canned soups....This recipe is wonderful! I used baby bella mushrooms...due to a preference..and I am from the south, so I added just a "touch" more sour cream. My family has requested this recipe for this weekend for a reunion..and then again for Thanksgiving. Tyler, you are wonderful!
