PERFECTION! I made this for a work party and now its my "go to" dish. Cream is the key, don't skimp with light cream etc(I know...its not that healthy, but it doesn't curdle. I used REAL grated parm and not that Kraft shakey stuff. LOVE IT! I also added some grated onion between each layer.

I used 2 cups of cream. 3 cups of assorted cheese: parm, guyere and mozzerella. I cooked it for 2 hours! I brought it to a party and it was gone in minutes. Very good recipe. I only got one bite! I also used home made smoked salt in between the layers. Next time I will make it in a shorter casserole dish so it won't be so deep. Maybe it will cook faster.

Easy to make, it was good but not as much flavor as I had hoped.

This was a very easy recipe. I've made it several times and it comes out consistently delicious. Just make sure to cook long enough so that the potatoes are soft. It's important to cut the slices the same so they cook evenly.

This dish was fantastic! My boyfriend had like four servings! haha I switched it up a little and added some white cheddar cheese and a little smoked paprika, and that worked really well. The rest of the flavors were so rich and delicious. I can't wait to make this again!

This was a really yummy recipe. I have tried various recipes and have not been very impressed. But this was perfect. I did cook it in a double boiler in the oven. I.e. I put the dish into a bigger dish and poured boiling water into the bigger dish. What a difference! Great flavours and very tender. Loved this.

I made this recipe to accompany my prime rib for New Years dinner. Tyler: Again, another flawless recipe. This was probably the best scalloped potatoes gratin that I have tasted in years. This is definitely a keeper!!

A winner for sure!!! I made it for 16 people. Had to add some cooking time but the end result was a success. I might try adding some pancetta or bacon next time.
Tyler's recipes are always a hit.

You will not regret making this dish! It is so good. MY SUGGESTIONS: Use extra cheese, cook COVERED for 45 minutes not uncovered, make it the day before, layer the potatoes, cut the potatoes evenly and not too thick. This recipe is so easy. I made it with my husband and he helped layer the potatoes for me and he also grated the cheese. Its a great "group effort" dish!
