This recipe was quite easy to prepare. 4 cups of heavy cream makes way too much for four servings, more like 8. I would ammend it to two cups. Had to add a bit of extra powdered sugar to taste for that much cream as well. I found the caramel sauce way too sweet for my personal taste, but everyone else loved it. Can also cut these ingredients in half, it makes more sauce than needed. Overall, very good and my first experience whipping heavy cream into whipped cream! (Also, use a hand mixer!

I really loved this dish, especially the salted caramel sauce. The sauce is like a delicious peanut brittle taste without the peanuts. I agree with other reviewers that it would be fantastic with lots of other combinations of cookies and sauces. It was easy to make but looked like a fancy dessert.

This recipe was super easy to follow and easy to tweak to your personal taste. I personally don't like gingersnaps so I substituted oreos and used blackberry syrup instead of the pomegranate molasses and it turned out fantastic. It looks super fancy too when you serve it. My husband and his friend loved it.

This was simple to make and enjoyable to eat! I also couldn't find the molasses the recipe asked for so I used regular molasses. I kept half of the dessert in the freezer for another day. With the first batch the caramel was too fluffy. The second was easier and it turned out better. Once I added the salt and butter I immediately took the pan off the heat and then stirred to mix it and I continued to stir for about 1 minute before it was the consistency the TV show had. It was fluffy in the beginning but after stirring longer the fluffiness went away. Next time I'll try it with different cookies and different flavoring instead of the molasses. Maybe almond flavoring with almond cookies...there are so many combinations that would be great with this recipe!

I made this last night. There was a discrepancy between the food network printed recipe and the television show. The TV show said to beat the cream into STIFF peaks and the printed one said soft peaks. I went looking for confectioners sugar and ended up with BAKERS SUGAR which I don't think is the same thing.... I used Trader Joe's triple ginger snaps and it took the whole container of them.
The caramel was a huge hit, its fun to watch adults act like kids and try to pry the caramel off of the plate with a fork. The dog was called into duty for that particular clean-up duty. :

My guests LOVED it. It will be a treat that I make often.

My husband raved about this recipe. My only problem was with the Caramel. It was a little tricky and I am not sure if my pot will recover.:o( The taste of the dessert was was worth every bit of time and effort. I used regular molasses as I was unable to find the pomegranate molasses. The combination of flavors was sweet and delectable. I felt like a real chef!!! LOL I can't wait to make this when we have company over. Very impressive dessert and relatively easy.

My 16yr old and I made this dish. Started showing her how to beat the cream to stiffen it. She would've been there all day at the speed she was moving that wisk! So, I decided to show her how to get some speed. After 2 minutes, I broke out the hand held mixer. So much for the "way they used to do it.": Anyway, liked the recipe. Watch the salt and butter, can overpower. Also, definitely drizzle, not pour on top. I thought how much I like caramel (candy coating and decided to add a little extra, well you have to break out the chisel to cut through it. We added cocoa to the cream while beating it. Couldn't find the pomegranate molasses, used regular molasses. I would add more cookies and less cream to the container. It was very rich with not enough texture from the cookies. Also, made one with crushed oreos as the bottom layer, then used two layers of fresh strawberries. We used approx 10 strawberries in our container (Williams Sonoma soup crock. Coulda used more. This was the favorite.
