Very tasty shrimp fried rice! This was my first time to make a fried rice dish that actually tasted like it was prepared in a restaurant! I used olive oil instead of peanut oil because I did not have peanut oil. I bought steamed rice from my local Chinese Resturaunt which dropped the prep time in half! Very easy to put together and delicious..I will make this again! Tyler scores on this one!

This is on of the best recipes I have ever tried! I have tried to make a number of different Asian dishes and they never quite turn out right. Thank you to everyone who commented previously! You made my husband and I believers.

Delicious dish. I used pork and snow peas, shitake, bean sprouts and carrot. Followed the instructions as far as sequence and am very happy with the results. Definitely a do over!

pretty good recipe but you definitely need to have everything prepped ahead of time or else you will not cook everything evenly.

I love this recipe but never try it out as I am here in Thailand where this is quiet easy to get, so that make me lazy to cook it.
But i will definitly try it now.
    Thank you

I've never made fried rice before so I wasn't sure what to expect. This was very time consuming for me to prepare but once I got cooking things progressed quickly. I didn't have any shrimp (used them all up for Sunny's Shrimp Wontons but the rice still turned out very well. The consistency of the rice isn't what I was expecting for "fried rice" but still tasted delicious! I wish I had thought to add some sort of hot sauce or something to the rice as I like spicy (hot things. Also, more vegetables would have been good since I didn't add any shrimp! Overall, excellent!
