What a fun, easy recipe! I didn't make the batter like Tyler but bought a premade mix where you just add water at Giant. I also substituted some of my favorite veggies for his recommendations. Any way you do it, the recipe is fun and simple...it was a huge hit with the family!

i have long looked for this recipe and tried it once long ago - loved the lemon - so refreshing to ones pallet - love it love it love it - tried it again last night and wow - it went over big with everyone......think we will have again tonight!

WOW! IM AM NOT USUALLY GOOD AT FOLLOWING A RECIPE BUT THIS WAS QUICK, SIMPLE,AND DELICOUS. I ALSO ADDED ALITTLE GRATED GINGER FOR SOME X-TRA KICK TO THE SAUCE. AGAIN,YUMMY!!!!!!!

Thank you for another delicious way to indulge in my favorite food. Guests were impressed with the avocado and lemon. Kept my batter in ice bath while using. Really crispy, but cooked everything longer than recipe stated.

Forget the boxes of the stuff at the grocery store! This makes a perfect, light and crispy batter. Definitely use seltzer water instead of regular. My shrimp cooked faster than the time stated in the recipe, and that was despite the fact I was having a hard time regulating the heat of the oil, so watch them carefully.
