This recipe was absolutely delicious. I had to work with what I had, no shallots, garlic powder instead of garlic, parsley flakes, vermouth, lemon juice instead of freshly squeezed, a little extra butter and olive oil, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes. I was thoroughly impressed. Easily as tasty as any good restaurant, and for those who couldn't get it there, you're missing out. A good cook always puts their own little spin on things to appease their palate.

I made this tonight - it was easy and quick and we all loved it! I added some red peppers initially also and they added a nice flavor and color to the dish.

I made this recipe tonight. I was delicious. Our family loves sauce so I increased the ingredients including the liquid and it was great. I also added broccoli. A winner in my book!

Don't know how it came out "dry" and "tasteless" for some (maybe bad ingredients, not enough salt or overcooked the shrimp???, but it turned out quite nice for me. Thanks, Tyler!

Very simple to make and quick too. I improvised a few things though. I boiled my shrimp, shell on, in Zatarain'sCreole/Cajun Seasoning and added grated Romano & Parmesan Cheese to top the dish off. Excellent flavor!!!

I so much agree with sal1948. Just awful!!! Tasteless, would be the word I'd also use!! Thank GOD I was able to save it or else yes it would have been a waste of time and MONEY!! To the people that said this was good as any restaurant not sure where you have been eating but your REALLY missing out on the taste of this dish! Not even close to how it really should be!!! :( Two thumbs down from me!!! :(

This was the worst recipe for shrimp scampi I have ever eaten. Very dry and tasteless. Even tried more oil and butter. A waste of time and money. Have made better shrimp scampi with just butter, oil, garlic and wine. Really !!

Soeldom does a recipie look at taste exaclty like what you fantisize about before making it. This one does! Super Easy - Super Delicious!

My only minor complaint is theat Tyler did not specify Italian or Curly Parsley. I assumed Italian as most recipies in which the parsly is cooked (even for a short time use Italian. For us rookies however, it should be spedified.
