I've never done home-made Shrimp Scampi. I looked at several recipes before deciding to do this one. It's really simple and easy, and it tastes really good. I will definitely do this one again.

I have made many Shrimp Scampi recipes in the past and NOTHING compares to this one. I typically find the scampi dishes to be bland and fairly simple. This kicks it up a notch with the shallots and then placing the al dente pasta into the sauce at the end. This really soaks up the flavor in the sauce. I triple the garlic but keep everything else per the recipe. Must try!

Simple and good. A winning combination. Probably not the best shrimp dish I've ever made, but good enough that we'll make it again.

Made it for a bunch of folks while on vacation on Dewey beach Delaware. Great, the only modification I made was MORE GARLIC :-. Doubled the garlic and wow, it was amazing!

I really like this recipe. I added a little more butter and garlic and double the ingredients for the size I needed and it worked perfectly.

The recipe is so easy. I think however that it needs a little more omph. It tasted okay, but I will try adding a little clam juice next time to kick that seafood flavor up a notch.
