Not as much flavor as we expected. We will not make again.

Made this last night using a small Meyer lemon and rice instead of linguine. The lemon was small so I could of used 2 of them, otherwise, this recipe come out perfect. My family enjoyed it. The shrimp was so tender and full of flavor. As an intermediate cook, this recipe is a keeper and one I will go to for shrimp scampi. We all loved it.

I don't recall the recipe saying to liberally salt your pasta water BUT, that's just a given when cooking any pasta... at least, for me. I cut the garlic in half, added about a cup of freshly grated Romano and eliminated the lemon juice altogether and used 1 cup of the Pasta Water... PERFECT! Oh, and I used 2 pounds of Shrimp. I thnk the recipe called for one pound.

This was really good. I followed the recipe mostly, except I used a wee bit more red pepper, and added a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese at the end. My family loves seafood, so next time, I think I will either add 1 lb of imitation crab and/or another pound of shrimp. All in all, there was only 1 serving left for a leftover.

This was a very good recipe. I used about half the garlic and I did find that the lemon juice did make for a very tart taste. I added a little MSG which cut the tartness of the lemon. Next time I would use half of the lemon juice suggested and I would garnish the dish with some Parmesan cheese.

The best shrimp scampi sauce ever. For many years I made a shrimp scampi with a very similar recipe, however, the shallots and red peppers add a nice kick. That and taking the shrimp out so they don't overcook. This will be my go to Shrimp Scampi recipe from now on.

It was very good. However the white-wine lemon juice sauce was a bit tart. I had to add a pinch or two of sugar to cut the sour flavor, then i added some Old Bay, extra pepper, and onion powder.I only did that because it was a little bland and needed an extra kick. After adding that, it was an extremely good pasta. Thank you!

Very good, and easy. Kids 2 and 5 loved it. Used some of the pasta water to loosen sauce a bit and added a little triple sec. Next time would double garlic. A keeper!
