This was the absolute best scampi sauce that I have ever made. It might have been the best I haveEVER eaten. The tip on slow cooking the garlic and shallots was the key! Thanks Tyler your my hero!

I had never made Shrimp Scampi before, but when I read Tyler's recipe, it seemed quite easy. This recipe is quite inexpensive to make and it was very good. Even my husband thought so, and he wasn't even going to try it! I'll make this over and over.

The dish was easy to make and turned out fantastic! I read many of the other reviews and reduced the amount of lemon to accomodate my husbands taste, it was a hit! The pasta video was especially helpful.

Great flavor and extremely easy and fast to make. I bought the shrimp already cooked and followed the recipe as is using the cooked shrimp. Delicious!

This dish is awesome! I used a pound of shrimp and a little over half the pasta called for and I added some chopped red pepper and onion and a bit more butter. Even with only half a box of linguini it was perfect! Still enough for four small eaters or three big ones.

I was at the market when I looked for a shrimp recipe wt pasta on my phone. I picked this recipe because I found amazing fresh Wild Shrimp I didn't wanna let it go! I had all other ingredients at home including the wine and shallots, I took my time and deveined the shrimps, they came out sweet, juicy, succulent, buttery and citrusy...
My bf and I just looooved this dish, you can see a picture of my dish on Food Network Facebook page.
Thank you Tyler, for delicious elegant dish.

I wasn't paying attention and finely minced the garlic instead of slicing them. I also used 2 shallots and used chicken instead of shrimp. While trying to cook a side item, I accidentally ended up browning the garlic and shallots. It was the color of turkey gravy. I thought the dish was ruined but tried to see if it would still work. I added a touch of cream to the sauce at the end. The browned, almost burnt, garlic actually ended up with a roasted garlic taste. The dish was amazing. My hubby usually never eats left-overs and is a very picky eater, but he actually took it to work with him the next day!

I just made this tonight just to try something different and I had all the ingredients. It turned out fantastic. This one will definitely be going on rotation. It was so quick and very favorful. I will take some suggestions from the other reviewers and try incorporting some additional ingredients next time. It's a winner!
