This was really good--a little on the oily side, but I'm not exactly watching my weight so I really didn't mind. What was important was that my husband and daughter both liked, which is a hard feat to accomplish.

This recipe was excellent! The sauce was perfect, I used a generous hand-full of kalmata olives instead of alfonso olives and a tsp. of crushed red pepper flakes instead of the fresh red chile! The eggplant turned out delicious and flavorful, I brushed the eggplant with EVOO instead of tossing it. My husband stuffed himself full and I couldnt stop myself from eating all of it! Thanks Tyler!

Good pasta recipe; however, could not find Alfonso olives. Substituted Kalamata. Calls for fresh red chile pepper. What kind? Many of Tyler's recipes are unclear or difficult to find ingredients.

I loved it! I used Kalamata olives instead of the olives that was listed in this recipe. I also added roasted zucchini cuz I love a lot of vegitables. My husband needs meet in his dish, so I added chicken whichi was seasoned with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, then dusted with flour and cooked in a pan with olive oil. Yummy!

We loved this dish and have served it to several different guest and they have loved it every time. We grill lots of vegetables and love to do them with the lemon and basil. All the flavors in this dish are wonderful.

Great Flavor. Reminded me of my in-laws cooking from Italy.
