Great tasting, much better than other carbonara's I've made. I did add about a 1/4 cup milk to the egg mixture and I would have doubled the bacon but other than that it was good.

I followed the recipe exactly. The carbonara turned out deliciously luxurious. Recipe was easy, and done in 20-25 min start to finish. As an added bonus, my 6 year old loved it too!

I have been "wanting" to make Pasta Carbonara for many years. Today being short on ideas for dinner, figured I'd try something new. This was perfect. My hubby and I like more sauce on our pasta, so I upped the eggs to 5, and the cheese to 1 2/3c. After I had read other recipes from other sites, I decided to add a cup of pasta water to the pan before adding the eggs and cheese. Was very easy to incorporate the eggs and cheese. I even added extra water. It produced a rich sauce that coated the pasta perfectly. Hubby ate way too much, we both loved it!
Thanks Tyler, hope to someday thank you in person for sharing recipes that everyone can make without having to drive all over town looking for ingredients.

Made this today for lunch. Delicious! Next time I think I'll add a bit more bacon, 'cause I can't get enough bacon!! Thanks Tyler!

Made it last night. It was amazing, flavorful -- perfect comfort food. Watching the video is key. I also tripled the garlic, pancetta, & cheese. I used 5 eggs instead of 3. Delicious!!!!

I just made this for dinner tonight, and it was a big hit! I followed the recipe exactly, and was a little hesitant about the aspect of raw eggs, but it turned out great! I think the key is making sure the pasta is steaming hot when adding the eggs. Fresh parmesan is a must, and the parsley added a nice layer of flavor. Also, watching the video really helps! Thanks Tyler!

I followed the recipe as written on this website and though the taste was DELISH, there wasn't much of sauce. Read some reviews and watched the video and saw that in the video, Tyler says to use 4 eggs. I think that would have made a huge difference. Also my cheese was a little gummy due to my local grocery store not having fresh parm, so I had to use the shredded packaged kind. With all that being said, I will definitely be making this again.

Definitely one of the more authentic recipes for carbonara I've found online. Tasted almost as good as I had in Italy, certainly better than I had in a restaurant last week. And easy to make! Will definitely keep trying to perfect.
