Made this on a rainy Seattle night and it was fantastic. Used regular breakfast bacon cut into strips. This is a great recipe because all items are common and kept in stock.

I definitely rate this one as EASY. I used baked ham leftover from Easter & just chopped it & added about 1/4 cup of the pasta water since there wasn't much fat from the ham. It came out delicious & lighter than the bacon version. My 2 yr old loved it "yummy yummy"!

This is fabulous and a sure-fire pleaser for my husband! I make a big batch and my husband eats it for days and says it gets better each day.

this was very easy to prepare. i actually cut this recipe in half for 3 people. my wife and son loved it. i think i might throw in some chicken with the bacon next time to give the dish a little more protein value

This recipe was great! Easy and quick - perfect for a weeknight! I think I may have slightly burned the pancetta while trying to "crisp" it - but other than that, everything was perfect! I took the advice of others and got the water to a boil before even beginning the pancetta and the timing was just about right! This one will be a regular one for me! Thanks Tyler!

This recipe was great. I made it for my friends and they ate it up fast! The recipe says medium difficulty but I found it to be really easy.

My husband and I made this dish together. Excellent flavor and taste. Great recipe, especially when you are short on time.
