My daughter made this following the recipe. It came out perfect. It was very good and she was very excited.

I haven't made the meatballs yet but have experimented for years and have to agree with Tyler that the "wet bread" method makes the tenderest meatballs. I did make the sauce and was quite disappointed in it. I love olives but it had too much of a heavy, overpowering olive flavor.

Tylers meatballs were an absolute hit in my house! They do make quite alot, we like our meatballs more bite sized, but they do freeze well, I did not fry mine I baked them on cookie sheets, once baked I allowed them to cool slightly and put the entire cooky sheet in the freezer, this way they were already frozen individually once I put them in freezer bags and did not stick together, when ready to use pull out as many as you need and put them directly into your sauce, since they are already cooked thorougly they require minimal cooking time. I have actually made the sauce ahead and froze as well, this make for a quick weeknight dinner, just thaw and heat through.

What a great and filling meal. I have never made meatballs before and never had meatballs with cheese suffed into them. It was easy to prepare and fun to eat.

I've made this a few times and my favorite variation is to use Italian bread crumbs (personally, just as good, 1/2 the milk, no mozzarella. I don't fry them first, just bake them in the oven for about 45 minutes. Excellent every time, but they make about 25 meatballs if you use 1/3 cup measurements as I do!!

I liked the sauce a lot and I thought the meatballs had a good flavor to them. I cut the meat in half and still got plenty of meatballs.

just questioning the amount of meat called for in the recipe: 2# of beef and 2# of pork. 4# of meat total for 10 meatballs!!!! Look at all the other recipes for meatballs in the recipe file and none other calls for 4# of meat
