Now when I get together with family members who tried the Guinness, icecream, and honey float I get teased about the awful combination which just didn't work. Maybe the honey needed to be mixed in more to sweeten the beer. The result was a bitter-sweet mess.

I too love Guinness. I love ice cream. I love honey. But my gosh, this is the worst imaginable combination of three things I love. If you want a Guinness, just have a Guinness, sans clever additives. If you want a float, have it with some IBC. What on Earth was this guy thinking? He must've burnt his taste buds on the Guinness Pot Pie or something. :-/ sorry...

I usually love Tyler's recipes, but this one....not so much. The stout is just too bitter with the ice cream. I'd stick with the good old fashioned root beer kind instead.

This was awful. My friend likes guiness, honey, and ice cream and he even did not like it. Do not try, not sure whay Tyler see's in this recipe.
