I made this dish for Thanksgiving last year and it suprised everyone at the table. It was a great, simple dish to make and was a wonderful presentation.

This was a great side dish. I loved the fresh potatoes and even my family members who avoid the typical sweet potato dish normally were raving. None left at the end of dinner! I found it was a great vegetable that my toddler loved too!

I absolutely loved this idea, but since I was cooking for a really large crowd I thought mashed sweets would be a better idea.

So, I prepared my mashed sweets in my usual way (butter, cinnamon, cream, and spiced rum, and loaded them into a casserole. I prepared the Streusel topping from this recipe and covered the top of the casserole with it, and baked according to the recipe directions.

It's now in demand for all holiday meals!

These were the best sweet potatoes I've ever eaten. I made them for Thanksgiving and they were the main topic of all the food there. My Mom told every body she knows about them. This will be on our Thanksgiving menu from here on out. Thanks

I made this for Christams dinner and even my picky kids who don't like sweet potatoes loved this...go figure.

Made these for turkey day. My wife ate a whole potatoe, and she claims to hate sweet potatoes.

This recipe is not "medium" in difficulty, it's super easy. It was an absolute hit for Thanksgiving this year and I've been asked to make it again for our Christmas get together. I recommend this recipe highly. TIP: Pile on the streusel so that the potatoes are overflowing. Also, I used both sweet potatoes & yams and it didn't matter which one was eaten, the result was the same - DELICIOUS!
