I found this recipe here on food network and made it for my Thanksgiving dinner this year... WOW... what a recipe. My family and friends loved them... Took all of the leftovers home.. Thanks for the yummy recipe. Definately a do-again recipe.

Note: I used yams in this recipe, not sweet potatoes.
Our family has never been very big on yams with marshmallows, but this recipe was a huge success! Not nearly as sweet as traditional candied yams, the streusel seemed just right. Plus, the individual whole yam servings are a nice change from the endless assortment of yam casseroles we've eaten through the years. I'll definitely look forward to cooking this every Thanksgiving.

Excellent way to prepare sweet potatoes! The finished product makes a beautiful presentation.
Next time, just for personal taste I will decrease the amount of brown sugar and marshmallows. I thought the recipe was just a tad too sweet, (so I added a little salt to mine although DH said not to change a thing for him

Aww man what a variation on a classic proved to be VERY popular... One nit. The recipe is called sweet potato but the picture clearly has yams. I went to the store ad glad I went with my inclinations and got yams instead of sweet potatoes. The yams have a natural sweetness that went better with this recipe. This is now in the "rotation" I may try to candy he pecans next time for just a little more sweet ( as if this REALLY needed it

Made these for Thanksgiving and we loved them. Because we had so much food, I cut the potatoes in half, fluffed the potato insides and then topped with the streusel. Very sweet and crunchy...would be good with roasted pork also.

AMAZING!!, my entire family enjoy this for the first time...first tip-- make sure the potatoes are baked really well, so when u split it in the middle u can open it up for the stuffing.

A HIT!!! I made these for thanksgiving. My SIL and MIL are very picky eaters. They were so simple to make. The longest prep time was baking the potatoes. Then mixing the stuffing took 5 min. Everyone loved them. Even my MIL then when my SIL refused to try it we made her and she loved it too.

Ok, didn't want to leave the potatoes whole because I didn't know if my holiday guests would want a whole potato.... so I cut them in cubes. Other than that I folllowed the recipe to a T. And it was absolutely fantastic! It was not overly sweet like those syrupy recipes. Thanks Tyler! Your the ultimate!
