I absolutely LOVE these sweet potatoes!! I was head of my family Thanksgiving one year and we decided that we would try all new recipes to all the classic items we typically serve and this is the one I chose in lieu of sweet potato casserole...let me tell you, it has been requested over and over again since then!! I even make it for Easter too!! Love it!!

I loved this recipe from the moment I found it to the time I plated it. I adjusted the amounts to serve 4, without putting much effort into it. My daughter and I loved it. In fact my daughter immediately said that next time we bring it up a notch by adding pineapple. We served it along side roasted chicken and the flavors complimented each other perfectly. However, the sweet potato definitely stole the show. My husband found it too sweet for him. Next time, I will not cut in to the potato and mix the topping as much for him.

Easy, Yummy, Appealing, and brought smiles to the dinner table!

Nothing fancy, just a mixed up sweet potato topping, twice baked! I tried these once at Thanksgiving and I have been making them throughout the year since. Family and friends rave over them and they are super easy and delicious!

I made this at Thanksgiving and let me say that Christmas came early..My Grandmother is 92 years young and everyone at the table stopped eating to watch Grandma devour this potato...lol... I think she may have even licked the skin clean the way it was left on her plate..lol....She smiled and couldnt stop talking about it..I am so glad I had one left over for her doggy bag..Thank you so much for giving my family a memory that we will never forget and for the rest of our lives every time I make this we will remember how our Old World Grandma could not stop smiling..THANK YOU ! ! ! so easy to make even a non cook like myself hit a homerun...i did leave out the pecans but regardless this is a must try ! ! !

These were the hit side dish last Thanksgiving. Because we were cooking for so many people (30+ I prepared the potatoes a bit differently: peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes, tossed them in oil, salt and pepper and then roasted them in the oven for 45minutes. Followed the topping recipe exactly. Wonderful and easy. Will be making it again for Christmas.

This was absolutely delicious.. the streusel was such a wonderful twist for the sweet potatoes... one thing though, NEVER microwave your potatoes.. There is such an amazing difference. I know it is a "quick" remedy instead of baking them, but they are so much better from the oven.. Try it, you will see..
    Enjoy...
