    I used skirt steak for this recipe, which can be fairly tough, but the marinade took care of that!! I would serve this to the best and pickiest person I know. As for the salt, that is a personal preference. I used 1 tbsp. of sea salt, and it was truly great.

    This is the best!. We have been searching for the best carne asada at all the Mexican markets in So. Calif and now we have found this. Will never buy carne asada again but will make our own. Just wasn't sure how much salt to add to marinade.

    Easy and yummy! Add a little bit of sliced avacado to your salsa and it is even better!!!
