I did this a little different than the recipe. I used a sirloin steak and fried the taco shells. The flavor of the meat was AMAZING! Served it with guacamole, sour cream and salsa from our favorite mexican restaurant. My husband, who likes NOTHING, loved it. There's nothing like homemade taco shells. Next time I will try the pico de gallo. The marinade was so good and so easy. Will try it on chicken and pork as well. Will be making this again and again. Thanks Tyler!!

I loved it. It was super good! And like the recipe says make sure you salt it when you start cooking the meat, I didn't at first and it wasn't as good. But Tyler, this is a winner!!

Marinated the meat for 8 hours which made it very tender. Good enough for a person who likes medium rare. Added more chilis to both the mojo and pico due to my tastes run hot.

I didn't like the recipe at all. There was no "kick" to the marinade. Very bland.

BEING MEXICAN I HAVE TRIED SOOO0 MANY TACOS DE CARNE ASADA FROM AUTHENTIC TO JUST PLAIN, BUT THIS IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITE RECIPES. LEAVING IN PHOENIX THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES WHERE YOU CAN BUY THE MARINATED MEAT AND IT'S ALWAYS DELICIOUS. NOW WITH THIS MOJO I GET TO PREPARE MY OMN MEANT IT'S CHEAPER AND I DON'T LOOSE THE GREAT FLAVOR. THANKS TYLER I LOVE YOUR AUTHENTICITY OF MEXICAN FOOD.

This Pico is AMAZING! Really easy, and really, really tasty. My husband loved it. I didn't have a Serrano pepper, so I did jalape?o and it turned out just fine. I also used vegetable oil instead of olive oil. A keeper recipe for sure!

I took this to a party with a large group of friends that are from Mexico and Texas, everyone loved it and wanted to know what I had marinated the meat with.
    Yum!
