This is by far the best ham I have ever made. This is my new Easter ham recipe! Delicious! Thanks Tyler.

Simply put, this is beyond delicious. My husband really dislikes ham but after his first bite asked that I make it again, and soon. Quite an amazing statement coming from him. I used Publix brand tangerine juice and doubled the number of sliced tangerines tangelos also work here since we both loved having a bit of candied tangerine in each bite of ham. I also put the sage and olive oil in a blender to better infuse the oil with sage flavor. And, as others have reported, 4 hours in the oven still rendered a moist, juicy, incredibly flavored ham. I wouldn't consider making ham any other way. My hearty thanks, Tyler!

Incredible! I have made this ham for the past 3 Easters and it continues to be an absolute crowd pleaser. My only recommendation would be to spoon off some of the excess fat in the bottom of the pan before adding the tangerine glaze. Doing so creates an even more intense flavor to the glaze and ham, but is not overpowering. Another big bonus to this recipe is that it makes your whole house smell phenomenal while the ham is cooking! Don't even consider using another recipe, this is the best you will ever use!!!

Excellent recipe indeed. I made it over the holiday and it made Easter! It was a beautiful centerpiece and the flavors were delicious. I squeezed a bag of juicy tangerines so it infused the flavors so good. My ham was tender and tasty. Way to go Tyler!!!!

AMAZING! by far the best ham I ever made or had for that matter. It really is more easy than intermediate. This recipe is very forgiving for substitution. I could not find tangerine juice so I used orange-pineapple juice. The glaze penetrated the ham so well you could taste the flavor all the way to the ham by the bone. I barely had leftovers. This is the only way I will be making my ham from now on. Thank you Tyler!!

I generally don't use glazes for my hams due to the "sweetness" level. This was fantastic!!! Everyone raved about it and three of the guests went home with a copy of the recipe. I did make one tiny addition due to personal taste and that was 1 heaping tablespoon of Dijon Mustard. It was the perfect accent to a marvelous recipe! Thank you so much for sharing!

This is definitely a 5 star recipe. I used fresh tangelos because I couldn't find tangerines. I had the same thing with the glaze as others have mentioned. I cooked it for about 1 hour. If you watch the video that goes with the recipe you will see Tyler's doesn't look "syrupy" either. I think it is supposed to be more like regular pancake syrup and not like a corn syrup thickness. I might try adding less water next time I make the recipe to see what happens. I left carrots whole and cooked them 1 hour. I didn't add salt either. My pan had way more juice in the bottom than the video and didn't use a rack. The sliced tangelos were yummy and I added a few pineapples with cherries for my daughter and they were yummy, too. Definitely keeeping this recipe.

This ham was FABULOUS. It had excellent flavor and the presentation was spectacular. Can hardly wait for my next potluck so I can bring this ham to impress the crowd. Just one thing. The carrots take longer to cook than stated in the receipe. Depending on the size, you may need an additional twenty minutes. Well worth the wait. The carrots were yummy too! P.S. I didn't add any additional salt.

This is definitely the juiciest ham I've ever made. I didn't look at the amount of tangerine juice when I went shopping, so I ended up picking up 3 tangerines. Since that wasn't going to make a cup of juice, I used pomegranate juice instead, and added the sliced tangerines to the mixture. It tasted delicious!

I found this recipe several years ago when Tyler Florence did a holiday menu special and it has been my go to ham recipe since. I never ate or made ham before this recipe. All I can say is TRY IT & you will LOVE IT!!
